I originally purchased the Chiquita apple bites at Meijer's for $3.99 and they had this sticker on them which has a code for a free package so I thought $2.00 each - not bad for a healthy lunch snack right?

  What I didn't take into account is that ever time I purchase one with the free coupon, I get another free coupon. So, I've "rolled" this deal at least six times!

Just please pay for the first one, I noticed all the codes where being removed at the store. Makes us coupon users look bad!

Not to early to start thinking about that "Dad" gift

or clean up Mom's car...........I'd love that!

My friend and I did this last summer and it worked out great. However, I wouldn't recommend going on raining days!

We had these for dinner last night with GG Steamers They are super easy, you put them in a dish and bake for an hour, that is it!

As Makin It In MI approaches the one year anniversary, I want to say thank you to all the loyal readers who have shared so much!

In the early part of May, the domain name Makin it in MI with expire and I've decided not to renew it. This wasn't an easy decision at all but, in the past year I've read  so many great blogs that I really didn't feel there was anything fresh or new I could add.

I will continue to post great deals I find on AFC forum as well as here until they pull the plug!

As the result of all the recent "freebies" & "cheapies" at Meijers, my cupboards are overflowing. I picked up these baskets at the dollar store for 2/$1 and they worked out perfect for the small tuna packs & seasoning mixes. Just thought you might want to know in case you're having the same issues!
